This Abstract was made with high magnification diopters to show intricate detail not seen with the naked eye. Underwater, as reed stems emerge from the silt their clumps are packed tightly together, making beautiful patterns as they intersect with each other. The unique combinations of colours, textures and markings are simply stunning. The colours change through the seasons and this caramel-rich palette is from their early Autumn display.
